This is our second 3.4 solution stove we purchase. The heat output for our home is second to none we have a 1400 sqft home and live in Ontario Canada and this stove is our primary heat source. For the season we will burn between 10-12 cords of wood depending on the outside air temp, all around a great stove Canadian made and the Enerzone company is great to deal with as I had a problem with my current stove and the company replied back to me and had the problem resolved within 2 days

* For wood, all calculations are based on a full cord measuring 1,2 m X 1,2 m X 2,4 m (4 ft X 4 ft X 8 ft). In certain regions of Canada, we call a cord what is in fact a third of a cord: 0,4 m X 1,2 m X 2,4 m (16 in X 4 ft X 8 ft). If what you buy is a third of a cord, multiply the price by 3. For the efficiency variable, we assume in our calculations that the stove used is one tested according to the EPA or CSA B415.1 standards.
